The Tech Department can configure your network and Windows PC (Pro/Business/Ultimate editions) for safe, secure, remote access from anywhere with an Internet connection. Your computer would be accessible from any Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux Desktop, as well as your iPhone, iPad, or Android phone or tablet.
The Tech Department also offers a hosted service called Desktop as a Service (DaaS). Again, from any Windows, Mac, or Linux operating system, and your iOS and Android phones and tablets, you have full access to your desktop, programs, and data. With DaaS, your data and applications reside on our high performance server infrastructure. The performance of most applications is lightning fast, regardless of the quality of device you’re connecting from. This means that accessing QuickBooks on your DaaS would perform the same on a 10 year old computer running Windows 2000, as it would on a brand new machine, or on your Android Tablet. Because your Windows installation is on our hardware, you will be running an up to date version of Windows, with lots of extra software included at no charge, and hardware and connectivity uptime better than 99.9%.
Desktop as a Service can be affordably brought to your office (on-premise) as well. We can grant access to applications individually, or the entire desktop experience. Moving to a DaaS model allows an office to move to inexpensive computing devices, leaving the heavy processing up to your DaaS server.
